I’m moving into a house that has a space in the wall for a television. What’s the best tv for a large room? Which technology is better, plasma or lcd or tube?

Tube gives you a fantastic picture, but you better not mind a TV weighing nearly 200lbs (or even more). Plasma is fantastic, it has a quick response time and excellent color. It’s also more vulnerable to burn-in from the choices given, but the newer ones have much long lifetimes and are much less problematic about burn-in than old ones.
If you plan to keep the TV for a long, long time, LCD is probably the best choice since it will retain it’s picture quality for a very long time and still have a pretty good picture. Although, they have the slowest response times of the three (that will only really matter if you’re a gamer).

for a large room try a lcd or plasma, or maybe dlp, each kind has its own disadvantages, like tube is really heavy, plasma lamps run out after while, but not all of em, lcd gets dead pixels after a while, dlp mirrors can break, but all of em has advantages too, plasma has super-high contrast ratio, same with dlp, lcd are vibrant and bright, tubes have really good picture and sound quality
it all depends on wuts ur style
