Can you hook up the dvd player to the cable system and tv to the cable? If not,your tv should have some kind of connection to hook up a dvd player to it. If not,check radio shack or something for an adapter.

You need video and audio inputs for a DVD player.
Either you have them, or you don’t.

Im pretty sure you can, but you will need two adapters. The first one being a RF Modulator. This little device lets you plug your dvd cables into it and a coax cable. Then you will have to plug your coax cable into an adapter that connectes to the antenna screws on the back of your tv. I think UHF. Radio shack should carry both of these. Good luck

by the sounds of it now. it needs something to connect in order to receiver audio and video.
